Little Critter is always learning new things and experiencing situations that are common to young children like getting a new sibling, or having to clean up their toys. And I Just Forgot is definitely one of those.

In I Just Forgot, Little Critter tries to remember everything he’s supposed to do, but sometimes he just forgets.

This book, The Day the Crayons Quit, by Drew Daywalt, is one of our favorites that we’ve read over and over again. It’s the winner of multiple awards, including Good Reads Choice Awards Best Picture Book, E.B. White Read Aloud Award, Barnes & Noble Best Book of 2013 and more.

This story is about a boy whose crayons write him notes telling him that they’re unhappy with the way he’s been using them, and what they want him to do instead.
