In our house we use the Read Aloud Handbook for book suggestions based on age appropriateness and level. Sometimes having someone else read to your child is nice too! That’s why we started Books with Britton. Each story is read by Britton Reeder, who is 12 years old. He loves books and reading aloud to kids. This book, The Day the Crayons Quit, by Drew Daywalt, is one of our favorites that we’ve read over and over again. It’s the winner of multiple awards, including Good Reads Choice Awards Best Picture Book, E.B. White Read Aloud Award, Barnes & Noble Best Book of 2013 and more.
